Two brothers,<\/strong> Ian & Colin Campbell with over 100+ years of combined Sailing and Power boating experience on the Great Lakes, Trent Severn Canal, and the 1000 Islands +++.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ian:<\/strong> Boating his entire life with 55+years in sailboats ranging in size from Lasers all the way up to Whitby 42\u2019 and power boats from small centre console \u201cT\u201d tops and outboards to Larger Cruiser 46\u2019 Yachts. Ian also has extensive sailboat racing experience in both Montreal and Toronto on various size sailboats from Lasers, C&C 34s and 8Meters.\u00a0 Having boating experience from Montreal up thru the St Lawrence, Rideau Canal, 1000 Islands, All of Lake Ontario, Georgian Bay(home) and up to The North Channel as well as Chartering in the Caribbean on large sail boats, Ian has experienced every aspect of yachting.<\/p>\n

Currently Ian has a Meridian 341 Cruiser out of Midland, Ontario where he spends his summers with family and friends cruising Georgian Bay and the North Channel.<\/p>\n

Colin:<\/strong> 50 years of boating on Lake Ontario, 1000 islands, Georgian Bay and then North Channel. After some long distance cruising down to and including the Caribbean Colin and his partner Wendy took off to do the Great Loop not once but twice. That trip alone was over 15000 nautical miles.
\nColins professional carries started as a Ferry Captain in Toronto Harbour having his Canadian Coast Guard Minor Waters Certificate.\u00a0 Continuing his enjoyment on the water included owning and sailing on the great lakes, cruising and delivering yachts to the Caribbean.<\/p>\n

Currently still cruising the Lake Huron, Georgian Bay and the North Channel on his Camano 31 named DeTour.<\/p>\n

Members of the RCYC, Life Members and Presenters at the AGLCA (Great Loop Assc) and presenters at the International Boat Show speaking on subjects of Weather, Cruising the Bahamas and doing the Great Loop.<\/p>\n

Versed on yachts both sailing and power from 25″ to 66″ has a wide range of experiences. Sailing in the Newport Bermuda Race and completed a two day Safety a sea certificate.<\/p>\n

Colin has a back ground in Electrical Engineering, completed a Diesel Mechanics coarse and 16 weeks of weather courses\u00a0 and would be considered a “Macgyver” on any boat.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
